ABOUT THE RETREAT SETTING:

We are excited to be offering this retreat weekend in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. If you have not been to Berkeley Springs then you are in for a winter treat ... actually an anytime treat!  Those who have visited before know of the special and healing waters, the energetic crystal formations that lie under the ground, and the friendly residents.  It will be quietly beautiful and invigorating this time of year.  

The retreat will take place at one of Berkeley Springs unique buildings, The Ice House.  The Ice House was built in 1911 for cold storage of locally grown apples. Today it is a thriving arts center, offering local artists a venue for presenting their creations. It also provides teaching space for workshops and for local theater and dance events.

SCHEDULE:

On Saturday, we will be together from 9:30 am to 4 pm, to give you time to do some local strolling, shopping, snacking or an opportunity to experience the local hot waters at Berkeley Springs State Park.  On Sunday, we'll go from 9:30 to 3, to accommodate those who will be driving home, or prefer to enjoy another evening in Berkeley Springs.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:

Bring a mat, cushion or pillow, a small blanket, a journal or notebook , pens, comfortable clothing, and an open mind and heart to this new, expansive journey. Chairs will be provided for those who wish to not sit on the floor.
 

WHERE TO STAY, EAT AND WHAT TO DO:

Many B&Bs have winter specials, and there are lovely houses to rent if you are coming with a group.
